Johnan Academic Preparatory Institute, Inc. (JASDAQ:4720) agreed to acquire 70% stake in iBEC Inc. from Reno Putra, Hiroko Kuno and Masato Yasui on August 27, 2018. Post completion, iBEC Inc. will operate as a subsidiary of Johnan Academic Preparatory Institute, Inc. For the fiscal year ending December 2017, iBEC Inc. reported net assets of ¥37 million and total assets of ¥99 million. For the fiscal year ending December 2017, iBEC Inc. reported sales of ¥211 million, operating income of ¥10 million and net income of ¥7 million. The Board of Directors of Johnan Academic Preparatory Institute, Inc. passed a resolution for the deal on August 27, 2018. The scheduled contract signing date and the scheduled share transfer execution date is August 27, 2018
