Johnan Academic Preparatory Institute, Inc. (JASDAQ:4720) agreed to acquire Kugahara Sports Club Co.,Ltd. from President Koshoku Matsuyama and his relatives for approximately ¥740 million on November 4, 2015. Johnan Academic Preparatory will acquire 0.2 million shares of Kugahara Sports Club. For the financial year ending March 31, 2015, Kugahara Sports Club reported net assets of ¥418 million, total assets of ¥435 million, sales of ¥287 million, operating profit of ¥41 million and net income of ¥12 million. The Board of Directors of Johnan Academic Preparatory Institute took the resolution on November 5, 2015. The transaction is expected to close on November 19, 2015.
