(Alliance News) - Morgan Sindall Group PLC on Tuesday said its finance director intends to retire from the company at the end of 2024, while also naming a successor.

The London-based construction and regeneration company said Steve Crummett will leave the company after serving on the board for the last 10 years.

Following a search process, Halma PLC Healthcare Sector Chief Financial Officer Kelly Gangotra will succeed Crummett as finance director. It is expected she will become a member of the board in the third quarter of 2024, when Crummett will step down from his role and as a board member.

This will allow for a period of transition before Crummett formally retires at the end of 2024, Morgan Sindall said.

Gangotra was previously CFO of project development and construction group Skanska UK PLC.

Shares in Morgan Sindall were up 1.7% to 2,130.00 pence each in London on Tuesday morning.
