Scala, Inc. (TSE:4845) signed a contract to acquire Grit Group Holdings Co. Ltd. from Hideto Yamazaki for ¥500 million on March 23, 2020. Scala will acquire 300 shares. Post completion, Grit Group will become a consolidated subsidiary of Scala. For the year ending May 31, 2019, Grit Group had net assets of ¥41 million, total assets of ¥474 million, revenues of ¥2 billion and operating income of ¥31 million. Transaction was resolved by the Board of Directors of Scala. Transaction is expected to close on April 1, 2020.
