Simplicity Holding Limited announced that the board of directors of the Company informed the shareholders of the company and potential investors that, based on the Board's preliminary review of the unaudited consolidated management accounts of the Group for the six months ended 30 September 2019, the Group is expected to record a turnover decreased by approximately 20% year-on-year mainly due to the closure of four restaurants, namely Shatin La Dolce, Tsuen Wan Grand Avenue, Mongkok Beefst and Mongkok Haha Prawn Mee, as well as the renovation of Ngau Tau Kok Marsino which had suspended its business for 2 months, and the weak consumer sentiment caused by the social unrest in Hong Kong since late June 2019. Given the challenging and uncertain market conditions on catering business, the Group is expected to record a further increase in the loss attributable to owners of the Company for the six months ended 30 September 2019 as compared with that for the corresponding period last year.
