SOMAR CORPORATION is a Japan-based company engaged in the high functional materials business, environmental materials business and food materials business. The Company has three business segments. The High Functional Material segment is mainly engaged in the manufacture and sale of films and other coating products, electrical insulation resins and other high functional resin products, circuit board materials and other electronic materials, as well as heat curable resins and other functional resin products. The Environmental Material segment is mainly engaged in the manufacture and sale of industrial fungicides and other fine chemicals, as well as paper coating binders and other paper manufacturing chemicals.
