Taishin Financial Holding Co., Ltd. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2022. For the third quarter, the company reported net interest income was TWD 7,601.3 million compared to TWD 6,526 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 3,795.57 million compared to TWD 4,854.01 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.2687 compared to TWD 0.3551 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.2687 compared to TWD 0.3551 a year ago.
For the nine months, net interest income was TWD 21,398.68 million compared to TWD 17,804.72 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 8,272.29 million compared to TWD 17,814.2 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.5566 compared to TWD 1.3244 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.5566 compared to TWD 1.3244 a year ago.
Taishin Financial Holding Co Ltd is a Taiwan-based financial holding company principally engaged in the investment and management of its subsidiaries. The Company operates through three business segments. The Banking Businesses segment is mainly engaged in the wealth management, consumer financing, corporate financing, electronic financing, credit cards and trust businesses. The Securities Businesses segment is mainly engaged in the securities brokerage and proprietary trading businesses, as well as the provision of consulting and underwriting services. The Others segment is mainly engaged in the provision of management services for group companies. The Company is also involved in the futures trading, venture capital, insurance brokerage and other finance related businesses.
