The National Agricultural Development Company announces the resignation of the following: Mr. Saleh Hasan Alafaleq - a non-executive member of the (Board of Directors, Remuneration and Nominations Committee, Audit Committee). Mr. Omar Hamad Almadhi - an independent member of the (Board of Directors, Executive Committee, Audit Committee). Accordingly, the Board of Directors, in its meeting held on October 04, 2022 AD, approved the resignation, and the Board also decided to appoint Mr. Ahmed Saud Shahini a non-executive member and Mr. Ibrahim Mohammed AL-Amer an independent member in the vacant position in the Board to complete the current session of the Council.

Thus, the company's Board of Directors extends its sincere thanks and appreciation to Mr. Saleh Hasan Alafaleq and Mr. Omar Hamad Almadhi for their active participation during their term of membership in the Board of Directors and Committees, wishing them continued success. Mr. Ahmed Saud Shahini has extensive business experience as a board member on several boards and in a variety of executive positions over the past 16 years in several sectors such as business development, supply chain, and commercial. He currently works as a CEO Advisor in the Saudi Agricultural & Livestock Investment Company (SALIC) and a board member on various organizations including Al-Khair Inorganic Chemical Industries Company, Shahini Holding Group and Naba Al Sehah for Medical services.

Mr. Ahmed Shahini has an Executive MBA from IMD Business School in Switzerland in 2017 and a BS degree from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals in Dhahran - College of Industrial management in 2006. Mr. Ibrahim M. Al-Amer is recognized as an expert in the human resources and business sectors due to his 26 years of experience as a board member at Ma'aden, Waad Al-Shamal Company (till April 22) and at Council of Cooperative Health Insurance (until November 2019) and other committee memberships. Currently is a Consultant to the CEO of Saudi Mining Services Company, and before that He was Senior Vice president of Human Capital at Maaden until 2022, and he previously served as Deputy Minister for Shared Services at the Ministry of Commercial and Investment until 2019.

Throughout his career, he received numerous awards, certificates, and commendations from organizations in the fields of human resources, business, and organizations management. He Completed Senior Executive Program, London Business School- 2019, gained a master-s in business administration (MBA), University of Hull, UK, 2004 and holds a bachelor-s degree in accounting from Imam Mohammed Ibn Saud University in 1994.
