Veeco Instruments Inc. reported earnings results for the fourth quarter and full year ended December 31, 2023. For the fourth quarter, the company reported sales was USD 173.92 million compared to USD 153.8 million a year ago. Net income was USD 21.64 million compared to USD 128.92 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 0.39 compared to USD 2.58 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 0.37 compared to USD 2 a year ago.
For the full year, sales was USD 666.44 million compared to USD 646.14 million a year ago. Net loss was USD 30.37 million compared to net income of USD 166.94 million a year ago.
