Via Holdings Inc. announced a private placement of 1,000 B preferred shares at ¥1,000,000 per share for gross proceeds of ¥1,000,000,000 on February 6, 2014. Preferred shares are convertible into common shares at ¥906 per share. The round will see participation from new investor Development Bank of Japan Inc., Investment Arm.
The transaction is expected to close on March 31, 2014.
