Watami Co., Ltd. announced consolidated earnings results for the third quarter ended December 31, 2019. For the quarter, the company reported net sales of JPY 69,815 million compared to JPY 72,111 million a year ago. Operating profit was JPY 333 million compared to JPY 749 million a year ago. Loss attributable to owners of parent was JPY 498 million compared to profit of JPY 870 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was JPY 8.96 compared to basic earnings per share of JPY 20.71 a year ago.
For the year ending March 2020, the company expects net sales to be JPY 96,300 million, operating profit to be JPY 1,100 million and profit attributable to owners of parent to be JPY 500 million and basic earnings per share to be JPY 12.79.
