Uniprom completed the acquisition of Kombinat Aluminijuma Podgorica A.D. from Central European Aluminum Company.

Kombinat Aluminijuma ad Podgorica u stecaju is a Montenegro-based company engaged in the production of aluminum. The Company is consisted of such elements as: the Alumina Refinery, which produces floury alumina and has a capacity of 280,000 metric tons a year; the Aluminum Plant, which consists of a Carbon Plant, Smelter, Casthouse, and Secondary Smelter; the Carbon Plant, which produces 65,000 metric tons of anodes each year; the Smelter consists of two pot lines, each containing 264 pots; the Casthouse, which has three T-ingot lines, one standard ingot line, and a capacity of 115,000 tons each year, and the Secondary Smelter, which recovers scrap aluminum and dross from the Casthouse.
