Polylite Taiwan Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2020. For the first quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 123.923 million compared to TWD 153.038 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 900,000 compared to TWD 5.349 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 14.223 million compared to TWD 20.317 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.3 compared to TWD 0.44 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 0.3 compared to TWD 0.43 a year ago.
Polylite Taiwan Co., Ltd. is a Taiwan-based company primarily engaged in the research and development, manufacture and distribution of optical lenses. The Company's lenses are made of polycarbonate (PC) and other materials. Its products mainly include vision correction use optical lenses, polarized lenses, coated lenses, dust free lenses, photochromic lenses and anti-blue lenses, among others. The Company distributes its products within domestic market and to overseas markets.
