Polylite Taiwan Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2019. For the third quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 110.155 million compared to TWD 117.259 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 1.185 million compared to operating loss of TWD 11.086 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 15.099 million compared to TWD 8.426 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.32 compared to TWD 0.18 a year ago. For the nine months, sales was TWD 386.269 million compared to TWD 320.246 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 12.749 million compared to operating loss of TWD 22.590 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 57.047 million compared to TWD 52.084 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 1.22 compared to TWD 1.12 a year ago.
Polylite Taiwan Co., Ltd. is a Taiwan-based company primarily engaged in the research and development, manufacture and distribution of optical lenses. The Company's lenses are made of polycarbonate (PC) and other materials. Its products mainly include vision correction use optical lenses, polarized lenses, coated lenses, dust free lenses, photochromic lenses and anti-blue lenses, among others. The Company distributes its products within domestic market and to overseas markets.
