Jost Dolnicar was named as chairman of the management board of Pozavarovalnica Sava dd on an interim basis after former Chairman Zvonko Ivanusic was recalled from his position by the company's supervisory board. Pozavarovalnica Sava dd's supervisory board named Jost Dolnicar as interim chairman of the management board, effective August 23. Sava's supervisory board chairman, Branko Tomazic, was recently reported to have attempted to remove Ivanusic from his post because of corporate governance irregularities related to the purchase of an office building carried out by the management board. Slovenia's Insurance Supervision Agency, meanwhile, has told Sava that Tomazic is unfit to serve as a supervisory board member, reportedly because he is subject to bankruptcy proceedings. Sava noted that its supervisory board will immediately begin a search for a new management board chairman. The management board will comprise three members with effect from August 23.
