Odin Foods, K.K. announced a private placement of 1,000 shares at a price of ¥10,000 per share for gross proceeds of ¥10,000,000 on June 12, 2018. The transaction will include participation from new investor, G.taste Co.,Ltd. (JASDAQ:2694) for a majority stake in the company. Post the closing, the investor will hold 100% stake in the company. The payment date is June 13, 2018. The transaction has been approved by the board of directors of the investor.
Yakiniku Sakai Holdings Inc, formerly G.taste Co Ltd, is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the operation of restaurants. The Company is engaged in the operation of chain stores named Heiroku Sush, Toriaezu Gohei, Murasaki, Yakinikuya Sakai, Nikusho Sakai, Omuraisutei, Nagasaki chan men and others, as well as the sale of products to franchisees operating under the same names.
