Taiwan Sanyo Electric Co.,Ltd. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2023. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 1,651.08 million compared to TWD 1,704.52 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 108.28 million compared to TWD 88.13 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.42 compared to TWD 0.34 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.42 compared to TWD 0.34 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was TWD 3,044.59 million compared to TWD 3,212.22 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 158.58 million compared to TWD 142.3 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.61 compared to TWD 0.55 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.61 compared to TWD 0.55 a year ago.
Taiwan Sanyo Electric Co., Ltd. is principally engaged the manufacturing and distribution of household electrical appliances. The Companyâs products consist of household electrical appliances, including refrigerators, freezers, washing machines, clothes dryers and air conditioners; wireless products, including color televisions, thin televisions, video and audio disk players; small household electrical appliances, including stereos, electrical fans, electrical shavers, electrical cookers, microwave ovens and mixers, among others. The Company distributes its products within domestic market and to overseas markets.
