Taiwan Sanyo Electric Co.,Ltd. announced earnings results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2020. For the third quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 1,643.950 million compared to TWD 1,467.248 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 172.656 million compared to TWD 87.571 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 143.810 million compared to TWD 72.615 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.56 compared to TWD 0.28 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 0.55 compared to TWD 0.28 a year ago. For the nine months, sales was TWD 4,414.153 million compared to TWD 4,146.175 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 350.697 million compared to TWD 192.644 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 300.937 million compared to TWD 170.156 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 1.16 compared to TWD 0.66 a year ago.
Taiwan Sanyo Electric Co., Ltd. is principally engaged the manufacturing and distribution of household electrical appliances. The Companyâs products consist of household electrical appliances, including refrigerators, freezers, washing machines, clothes dryers and air conditioners; wireless products, including color televisions, thin televisions, video and audio disk players; small household electrical appliances, including stereos, electrical fans, electrical shavers, electrical cookers, microwave ovens and mixers, among others. The Company distributes its products within domestic market and to overseas markets.
